The Des Moines Mini Maker Faire will have 4 workshop opportunities throughout the day on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. Restration will open at 9:00 AM on the day of the event. Scan any of the workshop QR codes posted around the building to reserve your spot!
Soldering Workshop 9:30-10:30
Learn how to use a real soldering iron to make a light-up pin! Ages 8+
Loom Weaving Workshop 11:00-12:00
Learn how to use a loom and yarn to weave a textile! Ages 5+
3D Design Workshop 1:00-2:00 ($10)
Learn how to use 3D modeling software to create a 3D design. Your design will be printed and ready for pickup in a few days! Ages 8+
D&D One Shot Adventure 2:30-3:30
Learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons in a beginner-friendly one-shot adventure. No experience or materials needed! Ages 5+
