The Des Moines Mini Maker Faire is Monday, September 4, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Science Center of Iowa. It is a family-friendly showcase of creativity, innovation and invention!
It’s an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, artists, educators, crafters, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors and students. All of these “Makers” will come together to show what they have made and share what they have learned.
Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.
